Welcome to Eldon Stud set in the heart of Hampshire's finest countryside, located in the idyllic surroundings of Eldon, once the smallest Parish in England - an area of outstanding natural beauty with access to 1000's of acres of woodland and open fields.

This private family Stud is owned by Geri and Sam Olive - Geri has been working in the equine industry for the past 37 years. Alongside the running of the Stud, Geri also specialises in backing and bringing on young or problem horses. Working beside Geri is her husband Sam who has worked in the stud industry, firstly at the private Home Farm Stud, West Tytherley, then Cheveley Park Stud, Newmarket, and was Assistant Manager of Grange William Stud in Ireland, one of Captain Rogers Airlie Group of Studs

Our facilities comprise of 50 acres of grazing, surrounded by our own 10 acres of woodland, 11 stables and 4 foaling boxes. Our paddocks range in size from small nursery paddocks for mares and their new-born foals, to larger paddocks providing plenty of room for older foals and yearlings to graze and stretch - an ideal setting for relaxing young horses and broodmares.

We have extended our facilities this year with an extra 25 acres of grazing with stabling to increase our facility for boarding mares or horses out of training/resting.

Our aim is to provide a friendly, relaxed but professional service to all our clients. Some of our clients are first time breeders and we are pleased to be able to offer our services and give free advice, regardless of whether you are using our Stud facilities or not.
